David Wegner

David Lee Wegner, 65, of Giddings, died May 6, 2013 at his residence. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m. at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham with Pastor Lee Hartman officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Mr. Wegner was born Dec. 1, 1947 in Brenham, TX, to Henry Sr. and Erna Schulze Wegner. He was retired from Blue Bell Creameries, where he worked in dry storage receiving. Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Fernandes and husband of Dennis of Houston; sister, Joyce Voss and husband Edwin of Rockdale; grandchildren, Thomas Joseph Fernandes and David Dennis Fernandes; sister-in-law, Thelma Lea Wegner of Houston; and nieces and nephews, Michelle Wegner of Houston and Shannon and Glenn Clinard of Rockdale.
