Deborah Kay Flentge Dorman, 59, died July 24, 2014 at Bayshore Medical Center in Pasadena. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 2 p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Pastor Charles Parnell officiating. The family will receive friends and family Sunday from 12 noon until service time at 2 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Deborah was born January 23, 1955 in Brenham to Milton and LaRuth Boecker Flentge. She was baptized at Welcome Lutheran Church of Welcome and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church of Salem. After graduating Brenham High School in 1973, Deborah attended the Art Institute in Houston. On Jan. 26, 1987, she married John Dorman in Houston. Survivors include her parents, Milton and LaRuth Flentge of Brenham; sister, Marsha Ray; nephews Michael Ray and wife Rachel, Mitchell Ray and wife Tracy, Tyler Ray and wife Renee; great-nephews and great-nieces Jack Mitchell Ray, and Kaci, Tyler, Karris, and Jay Gilmore; father-in-law Lyle Dorman of Pennsylvania; aunts and uncles Floradell Boecker, Burney and Earline Boecker, aunt Mary Tockhorn, as well as numerous other relatives. Preceding her in death were her grandparents Otto and Minnie Boecker, and Otto and Ella Flentge, husband John Dorman, mother-in-law, Bonnie Dorman, and several aunts and uncles. Memorials may be directed to Salem Lutheran Church of Salem. Funeral arrangements for Deborah Kay Dorman are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
