Delois Drews

DeLois Inez Drews, 77, of Brenham, died Feb. 13, 2006, in St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan. Mrs. Drews was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Dallas, TX, to Claude and Mary Lucille Goss Jordan. On March 13, 1970, she was married to Raymond Drews in Giddings. Mrs. Drews was a member of First Baptist Church in Brenham, Sons of Hermann and VFW. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Drews of Brenham; daughters and son-in-law, Claudia and Mark Appelt of Brenham and Donna Murphy of Fort Worth; grandson, Derek Krause of Brenham and fiancée Courtney Hartnett; brother, Alex Jordan of The Woodlands; and niece, Alicia Jordan of The Woodlands. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son-in-law, Dale Krause. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 in First Baptist Church in Brenham with Rev. Steve Ponder officiating. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church in Brenham. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
