Dennis Schulz, affectionately known as "Papa" was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He loved to go camping and fishing with his grandkids and spend time on the farm with his cows. Dennis was a Boy Scout Troop Leader for 21 years. He was the best barbeque connoisseur in Texas, his ribs could bring people from miles around. Dennis was a hard worker his entire life. There wasn't a car, truck or lawn mower he couldn't fix. He also enjoyed his four-legged friends. He was a straight shooter and didn't mind telling you exactly what he was thinking. Dennis never met a stranger, just a friend he hadn't yet made, and each one received a special nickname. He was an avid lotto player, though he never won big, he never stopped trying. Dennis served his country by joining the army. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, because to know him was to love him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest J. Schulz and Lena Glaesmann Schulz, wife, Diana Kirkpatrick Schulz, two brothers, Harry Schulz, Ernest Schulz, Jr. and nephew, Harry Schulz, Jr.
