Diana Schulz

Diana Gayle Kirkpatrick Schulz, 69, died May 31, 2016 in Bryan.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. John's United Church of Christ of Burton. Pastor Denise Seymour will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Burton. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Diana Schulz was born June 18, 1946 in Mission, Texas to Raymond A. and Florence Bassinger Kirkpatrick. She was married to Dennis Ervin Schulz on November 30, 1963 in Burton.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Ervin Schulz of Burton; son and daughter-in-law Michael and Barbara Schulz; daughter and son-in-law Malissa and Max Gonzalez; grandchildren: Kasey and Carisa Zientek, Cecily and Joshua Young, McKenna Schulz, Sierra Schulz, Colton Aing, and Kathryn Aing; great-grandchildren: Karilyn Zientek, Jayden Young, Cayden Zientek, and Kayleen Zientek. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Mrs. Schulz was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Raymond "Bubba" Kirkpatrick, Jr.

Serving as pallbearers are Brian Joseph "BJ" Kirkpatrick, Cary Dollar, Terry Hartcraft, Bryan Valicek, Alex Valicek, and Bradley Schulz. Honorary pallbearers are Frankie Schulz, Kasey Zientek, Darrell Bassinger, and Colton Aing.

Memorials may be directed to St. John's United Church of Christ in Burton, or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
