Dollie Kokemor

Dollie Ann Schultz Kokemor, 68, widow of Clarence Kokemor, passed away September 23, 2016 in Brenham.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 29, 2016, at St. John's United Church of Christ Cemetery in Burton, with Pastor Glen Schoeneberg officiating. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ.

Dollie Ann Kokemor was born June 18, 1948 in La Grange to Victor John Sr. and Viola Myrtle Bauer Schultz. On December 3, 1966, she was married to Clarence Kokemor. She was retired from the restaurant business. Dollie had a love for crafting and decorating for the holidays.

Survivors include grandson Christopher Kokemor and very special friend, Kristine Strahan, and grandson, Blake Mertz, all of Brenham; son-in-law Mark Mertz of Brenham; sister-in-law, Anne Schultz of La Grange. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Dollie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clarence Kokemor; daughter, Cindy Mertz; her parents, and brother, Victor Schultz, Jr.
