Dolores Specht Naumann, 86, died April 25, 2016 in Houston.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Brenham, with Pastor Phil Fenton officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel.
Dolores Naumann was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Brenham to Walter C. and Martha Lange Specht. She was baptized, confirmed and a lifetime member at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
After attending Alamo and Central Elementary schools, Dolores graduated from Brenham High School. On June 27,1948, she was married to Eugene Naumann at St. Paul's by Rev. Theo R. Streng. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Circle at St. Paul's, the Association of Retired Federal Employees, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of Herman Lodge #6. Mrs. Naumann was retired from Botts Abstract Co.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene, and an infant daughter, Julianna. She is survived by her son, Neal E. Naumann and wife Janice; daughter, Katheryn Moore and husband Haskell; grandchildren: Gregory, Janelle, and Brooke Naumann, James and Jonathan Craige, and Kendyl and Taylor Sebesta; brother and sister-in-law, Glen W. and Jan Specht; nieces Sandra Halvorson and husband, Jim, and Sharon Tunnel and husband Tom.
Grandsons and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
