Donald Warren Allen, 75, of Giddings, died January 7, 2014, in St. Mark''s Medical Center in Giddings. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 9 at White Union Cemetery, near Carmine, with Mark Miller officiating. Mr. Allen was born March 3, 1938 in Texarkana, Bowie County, TX, to Aubrey and Geneva Louella Hevalow Allen. Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Martha Allen of Magnolia and Michael and Millie Allen of Cypress; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Sidney Childress of Giddings; eight nieces and nephews and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews.
