Donald Hamilton

Donald Ray Hamilton, 74, of Decatur, Texas, husband of Cheryl Hamilton, went to be with the Lord on November 30, 2015 at his residence.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Troy Sikes officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Donald Hamilton was born November 28, 1941 in Childress, Texas to Durwood and Johnnie White Hamilton. He served as a senior vice president in the banking industry.

Survivors include his wife, Cheryl Hamilton of Decatur; mother, Johnnie Hamilton of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law Gary and Tammy Hamilton of Austin; daughters and sons-in-law Allison and Kyle Allison of Decatur, and Jamie and Cody Davis of Azle, Texas; grandchildren: Jake Ryan Allison, Jared Ray Allison, Kylee Lynn Allison, Cameron Carl McChesnee-Titus, Oden Cash Davis, Lauren Hamilton, and Jeanette S. Smiles; great-grandchildren: Addi and Ian; sisters and brothers-in-law Marsha and Sonny Dannhaus, and Debbie and Mark Knipstein, all of Brenham. He was predeceased by his father, Durwood Hamilton.
