Donald Manning

Donald Burt Manning, 59, died April 1, 2018 in College Station.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday April 5, 2018 at Chappell Hill United Methodist Church with Pastor Dan Danheim officiating. Visitation will take place at the church after the service, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Thursday.

Donald Manning was born May 10, 1958 in Weimar, Texas to William Burt and Joan Clark Manning. He was baptized at First United Methodist Church of Chappell Hill. Don grew up on Mel Acres Ranch, and showed cattle with his father, Bill, and his brother, Jeff. He also was employed as a carpenter in the Washington County area.

Survivors include his father, William (Bill) Manning of Brenham; brother and sister-in-law, Jeffrey Lynn and Susan Ogden Manning of Houston; nephews Jeffrey Lynn Manning, Jr., and David Clark Manning. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Clark Manning.

Memorials may be directed to Chappell Hill United Methodist Church.
