Donald Skweres

Donald G. Skweres, 41, of Brenham, TX, died Aug. 1, 2003, near Brenham. Mr. Skweres was born Jan. 12, 1962, in Houston, to Wallace Albert and Esther Jozwiak Skweres. He attended Brenham High School. On March 14, 1998, he married Beth Friar in Houston. Mr. Skweres was a construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Beth Skweres of Brenham; sons, Blake Scott Skweres of Houston, Zachary Wallace Skweres of Brenham and Drew Lessman of The Woodlands; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Bryan Gerber of Omaha, Nebraska; mother, Esther Skweres of Brenham; brother, Billy Joe Skweres of Houston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Willene Friar of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Sue Sinclair of Houston and Becky and Monty Montgomery of Fishers, Indiana; niece, Mackenzie Montgomery and nephew, Ryan Friar. He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace Skweres, on Nov. 6, 1971. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill with Father Gene Shepard officiating. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in Memorial Oaks Chapel. Pallbearers will be Tom Sebesta, Roger Sebesta, Dwayne Skweres, Larry Ciegelski, J.J. Jozwiak and Brian Gerber. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
