Donald Zetik

Donald Frank Zetik, Sr. passed away December 16, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 28, 1938 to Sylvester and Milady Zetik in Brenham. He is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister, Janet Zetik Gerke. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruthie; children, Don Zetik, Jr. and Debbie Kurtz, and 3 grandchildren. Also surviving are niece, Melissa Gerke Lyons, nephew, M. Chad Gerke, and brother-in-law, Clarence Gerke. A 1956 graduate of Brenham High School, he earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M, University, and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. A Prayer Service is scheduled for 7 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with Funeral Mass taking place at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Church of the Resurrection.
