Donna White-Harrington

Donna J. Hooper White-Harrington passed away on October 10, 2008 in Florida. She was born March 17, 1925 in Childress, Texas to Rufus and Beulah Cannon White. Donna was a Unity minister in Florida before retiring to Brenham. She was a 16 year member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Brenham and a Gold Star mother. She was also a member of VFW Auxiliary 7104. Survivors include her daughter, Laura Cole and son-in-law John Cole of Umatilla, Florida; sister Johnnie Hamilton of Brenham; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and son Charles Harrington and brother, Charles White. Services for Donna Hooper will be held on Wednesday, October 15 at 2:00 with visitation prior at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Rev. Glen Schoeneberg will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Lea Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
