Doris Head

Doris Ilene Head, 65, of Brenham, died June 6, 2016 .

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will follow in the Wayne Taylor Family Memorial Cemetery, 520 CR 430, Somerville. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Doris Head was born July 15, 1950 in East Bernard to Chester and Nelwin (Allen) Langford. She was employed by the Brenham State Supported Living Center as a homeleader.

Survivors include a daughter, Reville "Dawn" Dobbs of Brenham; mother, Nelwin Langford; grandchildren: Stefanie Marie McPherson and Katherine Dawn McPherson; brothers Chester Langford, Jerry Baggett and wife Doreen, Jimmy Baggett, Jack Murphy, Billie Smith, and Michael Smith and wife, Jody; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Douglas Duncan of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Langford, and former husband, Bill Starling.

Memorials may be directed to Brenham State Supported Living Center Volunteer Services, or to Hospice Brazos Valley.
