Doris Konieczny

Doris Ann Konieczny, 45, died January 24, 2019 in Bryan.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2019 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Msgr. Benedict Zientek officiating, and Deacon Al Prescott assisting. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Rosary scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Doris Ann Konieczny was born November 7, 1973 in Brenham to Clement Charles and Lillian Marie Worchesik Konieczny. She was employed in home assisted living.

During her high school years, Doris played softball and played in the band. She was involved in Little League Softball. She will be missed by her many friends and her family.

Survivors include brothers Donald Konieczny and wife Shelly of Houston; Daniel Konieczny and special friend Alli, and her son, Curt. Other surviving relatives are nephews Evan Joseph Konieczny, Grant Charles Konieczny, niece, Anna Claire Konieczny, all of Houston, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, and a niece, Amber Lyndell Konieczny.

Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, or the National Stroke Association.
