Dorothy Bilski

Dorothy Rose Bilski, 75, passed away June 14, 2015 in Brenham. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2015 at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Father Jay Polisetty will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Dorothy Bilski was born Nov. 8, 1939 in Brenham to Ike and Leona Rosner Konieczny. She was employed by the TFE Co. for a number of years in the packing department. Fishing was a favorite pastime, and she enjoyed gathering pecans. She treasured time spent with her family, especially with the grandchildren. Survivors include sons Steve Bilski, Jr., Thomas Bilski, Donald Bilski, and Kenneth Bilski, all of Brenham; grandchildren Jennifer and Bobby Stewart, Justin and Melissa Bilski, Quinten Bilski, Hayley and Jake Tappan, Garrett Bilski, Brittany Bilski, Shelby and Chris Glona, Chad Bilski, Dillon Bilski and Tina Bilski; great-grandchildren: Cole Stewart, Layne Bilski, Price Tappan, and Graham Tappan; brothers George Konieczny, and Leon Konieczny and wife Frances, all of Brenham; sisters Emily Bolcerek and husband Edwin of Plantersville, Natalie Uilkie of Navasota, and Jo Ann Macat and husband Doug of Brenham; brother-in-law Alois Bilski, and sister-in-law Regina Bilski of Brenham. She was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Bilski; husband Steve C. Bilski, Sr.; her parents; a sister, Regina Kubeczka and 3 infant children. Serving as pallbearers are Quinten Bilski, Justin Bilski, Chad Bilski, David Davis, Curtis Konieczny and Mark Eickenhorst. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary''s Catholic Church.
