Dorothy Phillips

Dorothy Frances Phillips, 65, of Brenham, passed away at her home in Brenham. Dorothy was born May 21, 1943 to James Roy and Frances Johnson Hightower in Holtville, CA. She was most recently employed at an area nursing home. Survivors include sons Darrell Gandy of Navasota; Rodney Sue Grandy of Brenham; Chad Gandy Nicole of Brenham; Robert Gandy Donna of Rusk; Tommy Gandy Becky of Caldwell and Steven Gandy of Angleton; daughters: Kathy Marcus Weidemann of Brenham, and Tammy Melvin Krolczyk of Chappell Hill. Also surviving are four brothers, three sisters, 16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Dorothy Phillips will be held Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
