Dr. Johnston

Dr. Robert A. Johnston Ed. D, 76, of Brenham, died September 5th. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; daughter Kristine; son Brett, and granddaughters Nicole and Emily. Dr. Johnston earned Masters and Doctoral degrees in Education, and served as administrator at College of the Mainland, Texas City, Tx. He pitched for the Brooklyn Dodgers ''57-''58. In his retirement he volunteered as a CASA, HOST, CERTS, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, Salvation Army, and FEMA. Visitation will be Sept. 9, 6-8 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Brenham. Funeral will be Sept. 10, 11 a.m., Brenham Presbyterian Church. Graveside Service at 2 p.m., Prairie Lea Cemetery.
