Dwight Conway

October 22, 1969 — April 21, 2017

Dwight “D” Dale Conway went to his heavenly home Friday, April 21.

D was born to Glenda Dale Warren Conway and to the late Wayne Austin Conway on October 22, 1969, in Denver City, Texas. After graduating from Denver City High School, he went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Oilfield Technology at South Plains College. D was baptized in the Methodist church in Denver City.

D met the love of his life in Brenham, Texas. He and Brandi Lange Conway were married January 17, 1998, and they were inseparable since then. He and Brandi traveled often and never stopped acting like newlyweds. They were blessed with two children, Cash and Carli. A true family man, nothing brought D more joy than being with Brandi and their children. D especially enjoyed showing cattle with Carli and spending time with Cash when he was home from college. The Conway family are members of Cowboy Church of Brenham.

Known as a country boy with a big heart, D was an avid hunter and had become increasingly interested in fishing. He was in his element riding in the Ranger with the dog or living on island time, fishing from his boat in Galveston. D and Brandi always had an open door and loved to entertain friends and family in Brenham, Galveston, and Honduras and “The Ranch” in Gonzales.

D was a successful businessman along with his brother, Shan, who was also his best friend and business partner. After selling their first company, which they founded, D and Shan bought NWIS Training School in Burton. D and Brandi also own D & B Endeavors, a real estate investment company.

D is survived by his wife, Brandi Lange Conway; son, Clayton Cash Conway and special friend Emily Dean; daughter, Carli Nicole Conway and special friend Adam Sebesta; mother, Glenda Conway; brother, Shan Conway; Jimmy James Heritage, who was loved like a son; father-in-law, Gary Lange and wife, Ruby Kobs Lange; brother in-law and sister-in-law Dant and Stacy Lange; brother in-law and sister-in-law Harper and Natalie Lange; Nephews and nieces, Jacob Lange, Josh Lange, Katie Lange, Tice Lange, Slade Lange, and numerous other cousins and family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Conway and his mother-in-law, Donna Lange.
