Edd Reeves, Jr.

Edd "Eddie" C. Reeves passed into heaven on April 16, 2011. He was born in Ranger, Texas, August 15, 1918. He spent most of his adult life in San Benito and Brownsville. He served in World War II as a First Lieutenant in the Army Air Corps flying the P51, one of the thrills of his lifetime. While stationed at Camp Swift, Texas, he met and married 3 weeks later, a pretty brunette named Margie Ruth Reeves, from Smithville, Texas. They were married for sixty-three years and had three sons. Eddie was in car sales all his adult life and retired as Tipton Ford Motors as the dealership manager. His surviving family is as follows: Dr. & Mrs. William Reeves Helen Brenham, Mr. Tom Ed Reeves, Clear Lake and Mr. & Mrs. Joe Bob Reeves Janet Ft Worth. Grand Children: Mr. & Mrs. William Reeves Katie, grandson, of Cedar Park; Mr. & Mrs. Sean Vaughn Kathleen, granddaughter of Dallas, Texas; Mr. & Mrs. Weston Haynes Kristen, of Ft Worth , granddaughter; Courtney Reeves, granddaughter, Ft Worth; Allie Reeves, granddaughter, Clear Lake; Annie Reeves, granddaughter, Clear Lake; Allison Hesterman, New York, Lacey Triplett, of Austin and John Triplett of Boerne. Great Grand Children: MaryJane Reeves, Van Reeves, Travis Reeves, Harrison Reeves; Beckett Vaughn; Weston Haynes. Service will be held at Brenham Church of Christ, Brenham, TX, Saturday, April 30., at eleven o''clock.
