Edward Raymond Richardson, 86, husband of Emma Richardson, died Feb. 2, 2014 at Ennis Regional Medical Center in Ennis, Tx. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Brenham Church of Christ, with Pastor Doug Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Edward Richardson was born Sept. 19, 1927 in Franklin, Tx. to Raymond and Virgie Allee Richardson. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War, and worked as an HVAC technician for Blinn College. Survivors include his wife, Emma Aletha McCracken Richardson; sons and daughters-in-law Kevin and Diane Richardson of Austin, Barry and Joye Richardson of Cedar Creek; daughter and son-in-law Gail and Roger Seilheimer of Brenham; stepsons Alvin Howard and wife Kathy of Lake Jackson; Roy Howard and wife Linda of Denison, James Howard and wife Delores of Ennis, and Martin Howard of Huntsville; grandchildren: Adam and Sherrie Richardson, Erik Richardson, Kaci and Matt Bonine, Kody Seilheimer, Matthew and Millie Howard, Luke and Michelle Howard, Stormee and Jeffrey English, Emalee Howard, Maci Howard, and Melissa Howard; great-grandchildren Charlotte Richardson, Rebekkah Richardson, Blaine Howard, Blake English, Bentley English, and Bryson English, and brother and sister-in-law Lendon and Judy Richardson of Magnolia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Wana Richardson; a son, Bruce Richardson, and brothers Billy Richardson and Bobby Richardson. Mr. Richardson was a lifelong member of Brenham Church of Christ. Favorite hobbies were fishing and playing 42. He treasured time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to the Brenham Church of Christ. Funeral arrangements for Edward Raymond Richardson are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
