Edward Wisnoski

Edward Thomas Wisnoski, 82, husband of Barbara Helen Stegent Wisnoski, died November 30, 2011 in Brenham. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 5, 2011 at St. Mary''s Catholic Church in Brenham, with Father Benedict Zientek, celebrant. The family will receive friends and relatives at Memorial Oaks Chapel beginning at 5:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Edward Wisnoski was born December 13, 1928 in Houston to Michael Frank and Agnes Mary Machos Wisnoski. He was a member of the Merchant Marines during WWII. On September 9, 1950, he married Barbara Stegent, and they made their home in Washington County. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; son, Ronald E. Wisnoski and wife Rosemary of Houston; daughter, Elizabeth A. Wisnoski of Montgomery; grandchildren: Ryan Michael Wisnoski, USMC Pfc. Dalton Wesley Curl, and Casey Joyce Curl; sisters-in-law Virginia Wisnoski and Louise Marshall, both of Brenham, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Joyce Marie Wisnoski, and a grandson, Randy Michael Wisnoski. Serving as pallbearers are Marion Tomczak, Thomas Gregory, Dennis Gregory, Tommy Gorski, Eddie Henthorn, and Robert Bugaj. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary''s Catholic Church or to any favorite charity. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
