Eldred Hilbrant

Eldred Arlene Meredith Hilbrant, 84, of Brenham, died Sept. 3, 2006, in Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village in Brenham. Mrs. Hilbrant was born March 31, 1922, in Mercedes, Texas, to Julian Ernest and Maatha Edna Wright Meredith. She was a data processor for the Air Force. Survivors include her brother, R.J. Meredith of Dallas; and sister, Dorris M. Chandler of Brenham. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ennis Alonzo Hilbrant; and one brother, L.W. Meredith. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5 at Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham with James Mullen officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
