Elfrieda Rosalie Stelter Lueck, 86, of Brenham, died March 25, 2006, at Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mrs. Lueck was born September 22, 1919, in the Berlin Community, Washington County, Texas, to Fritz C. and Emma Albrecht Stelter. She was baptized November 9, 1919, in the Berlin Community and confirmed September 17, 1933 in the Gay Hill Community by Pastor Albert Weber. Mrs. Lueck attended the Gay Hill School. On November 2, 1941, she was married to Ervin Lueck in the Gay Hill Community by Pastor John Striepe. Mrs. Lueck retired from Brentex Mills in December 1978 where she had worked as a spinner. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville, the Church Ladies Aide and the Bluebonnet Club. Survivors include her brother, Delbert Stelter of Brenham; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Walter & Esther Lueck of Brenham and sisters-in-law Leola Lueck of Huntsville, and Mary Lueck of Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ervin Lueck, on June 12, 2001, sister, Rosalie Eisler, and brother Pearlee Stelter. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 8: 00 p.m. Sunday, March 26, at Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service for Alfrieda Lueck will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville with Pastor David Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Pallbearers will be Carl E. Schlottmann, Walter C. Lueck, Jr., Cody Stelter, Lloyd Stelter, Allan Stelter, Dale Rebe and Don Schlottmann. Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church of Zionsville building fund. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main Street, in Brenham.
