Elfrieda Treude

Mrs. Elfrieda Hulda Henrietta Hinze Treude, age 80 of LaBahia Community, died Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in the Care Inn, LaGrange. She was born December 14, 1924 in the LaBahia Community the daughter of Paul and Louise Wetzel Hinze. She was baptized on March 15, 1925 at her home by Pastor A.H. Falkenberg and on October 2, 1938 she was confirmed in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top by Pastor W. Kralik. On September 7, 1947 she married Edwin Treude by Pastor K. Kralik in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Round Top. He preceded her in death July 19, 2001. She attended the Boundary School. She was a life member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top, member of the Round Top Sons of Hermann. She is survived by son and daughter in law, Glenn & Joy Ullrich Treude of Burton; daughters and sons in law, Charlene & Charles Mueller of Carmine, and Darlene & El Gene Weyand of Fayetteville ; grandchildren Barbara & Freddie Gamez of Kyle, Brenda & Steven Medack of Giddings, Becky & Jason Jasinski of Brenham, Charles Mueller Jr. of Carmine, Gwen & Robbie Stork of Carmine, Glenda & Cassius Oakes of Houston, Eric & Kristi Weyand of Alleyton, & Deric Weyand of Fayetteville. The great-grandchildren; Faith Stork of Carmine, Brian & Jeffrie Gamez of Kyle, Cody & Tyler Medack of Giddings, Kyle, Zachery & Dylan Mueller. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons; Eric Weyand, Deric Weyand, Charles Mueller Jr. Freddie Gamez, Steven Medack, Jason Jasinski, Robbie Stork, & Cassius Oakes. The family will be receiving friends and relatives from 6 to 8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.The funeral service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 10, 2005 in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Round Top with Pastor Suzanne Guinn & Pastor John David Nedbalek officiating. Burial will follow in La Bahia Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home, Burton.
