Ellen Bernice Hahn, 92, passed away July 18, 2014 at Brenham Nursing and Rehab in Brenham. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, followed by a Memorial Service at 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Phil Fenton will officiate. Bernice Hahn was born October 15, 1921 in Madill, Oklahoma to Frederick Henry and Lela Pearl Donihoo Hobbins. Music was an important part of Bernice''s life, as she was an accomplished piano player, inheriting her talent from both her parents. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Colorful, outgoing, and outspoken, she adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Spending time outdoors in nature was another favorite pastime. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Roger Kelm of Houston, and Brenda and Vladimir Dibrigida of Aurora, Colorado; grandchildren Jason Kelm, Courtney McDaniel, Ashley Gifford, Justin Searles, Todd Woods and Kerry Woods; great-grandchildren: Nicolas Kelm, Harrison Kelm, Ella Rose Kelm, Emily Ramirez, and Greyson Gifford. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Woods; her parents, and her husband, Arthur Hahn. Funeral arrangements for Ellen Bernice Hahn are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W.
