Elouise Wilke passed away peacefully on April 12, 2015 at Scott and White Hospital in Brenham, Texas. She was born May 27, 1925 to Henry and Louise Reddehase. On July 19, 1925, she was baptized at Zionsville Lutheran Church and was confirmed in the same church in 1938. Together they started a successful business, Modern Seamless Products in Brenham. As a team, they operated this business for over 40 years. Elouise''s world revolved around her family and her church. She spent many days a week involved with church activities at Zionsville, including being a member of the Mary Martha Circle. She was also an active member of the Bluebonnet Club. By far, her favorite hobbies were baking and gardening. Never a day went by when there wasn''t a fresh loaf of bread or pan of cinnamon rolls baking in the oven. Above all else, her greatest joy came when her entire family was together in her house for a holiday or Sunday lunch. She loved when her grandkids and great-grandkids came to visit. She always made sure she would tell them how special they all were to her. Survivors include her son Carson and daughter-in-law Marilyn, and son Michael and daughter-in-law Linda; many grandchildren, including Jason Wilke; Kristin Jared Krenek; Brent Sandra Wilke; Jeremy Wilke; Lauren Colt Gillum; Lyssa Wilke; great-granchildren: MacKenzie and Michaela Wilke, Morgan and Macey Wilke, Colt and Cooper Krenek, Troy, Trista and Triton Gillum. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Cleo and Aubert Jaeger. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Louise Reddehase; her husband Henry Wilke; her parents-in-law, Richard and Edna Wilke and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Erwin and Lilly Winkelmann. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Wilke, Brent Wilke, Jeremy Wilke, Jared Krenek, Colt Gillum, and Larry Winkelmann. Honorary pallbearers are Vera Lehde, Carol Zwahr, Olan and Sylvia Ashorn, La Verne Blum, Doris Blum, Jean Winters, Elvera Drews, and Walline Lorenz. The family will always be grateful for the comfort and prayers that were brought to our mother by her special pastor. Mom always looked forward to the visits of Pastor Pat Lehrer of Zionsville Lutheran Church. The family would like to give a special thanks to Robin Bunch and the staff at Argent Court for the special care that was given to our mother for the past two years. She enjoyed her time there and felt this was her home. Memorials may be directed to Zionsville Lutheran Church of Zionsville, Hospice Brazos Valley, or to any favorite charity.
