Elsie Kaptchinskie

Elsie Alma Kaptchinskie, 88, formerly of Houston and Brenham, died October 29, 2005, in Huntsville Memorial Hospital in Huntsville. Mrs. Kaptchinskie was born July 28, 1917, at her home in Austin County to Theodore and Friedericka Wetzel Drews. She attended County Line and Greenvine schools. On April 10, 1945, she was married to Stanley J. Kaptchinskie in Houston. Mrs. Kaptchinskie was a production worker for American Can Company for 30 years. She was a member of the Catholic faith since 1945 and was a member of Altar Society at St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham. She is survived by a brother. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1 in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham with Msgr. Benedict Zientek, celebrant. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery in Houston.
