Estelle Moore Clough, 102, of Orange, Texas died early Tuesday morning, October 5, 2010 at Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village in Brenham. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery in Orange, Texas on Friday, October 8, 2010 with Rev. Barry Bradley officiating. Mrs. Clough was born September 12, 1908 in Chatawa, Mississippi. Her mother and father and six brothers and sisters, all now deceased, moved to Orange in 1912 when Estelle was 4 years old. She was married to Forrest H. Clough of Orange for 58 years until his death in 1988. In 1999 Estelle moved to Brenham to be near her only child Robert Moore Clough of Chappell Hill. Mrs. Clough was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brenham since 1999. Prior to that time she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Orange for approximately 80 years. Survivors include her son, Robert M. Clough and wife JoAnn R. Clough of Chappell Hill; a granddaughter, Sandra Clough Zoppe and husband Brian of Houston; a grandson, James Forrest Clough of New York, NY; a great-grandson, Lazlo R.A. Zoppe of Houston; and three nephews, Richard M. Moore, Jr. of Port Neches, Texas, Albert E. Moon of San Francisco, California and Fredrick M. Cross of St. Louis, Missouri. A fourth nephew, Walter "Wally" Moore of Lake Charles, Louisiana, is deceased. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
