Esther Minnie (Fieseler) Lampe, 82, of Brenham passed away on March 02, 2023 in Brenham.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 06, 2023, with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Chapel, Brenham, TX. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 07, 2023 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg with Pastor Evan Cameron officiating. Burial will follow funeral services in church cemetery.
Esther was born in Washington, County on December 11, 1940 to parents Ernest Fieseler Sr. and Minnie (Borchgardt) Fieseler. She was married at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg on March 18, 1972 to Alfred Lampe Jr. to this union they had one daughter, Patricia Lynn Lampe.
Esther was a member and confirmed at St. Pauls’ Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg.
She will be remembered for her hamburgers while she worked at Citizens Pharmacy and her contagious laugh that most people knew her by. She enjoyed gambling in Louisiana and the Fieseler family gatherings. She was the best mom to Patricia and wife to Alfred.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lampe of Brenham, sisters, Alice Macik and Joann Reimer of Brenham. Brother-in-law, Jimmie Lampe and Kathy of Brenham and sister-in-law, Shirley Nichols of Navasota. Esther is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alfred Lampe, brothers, sisters, and in-laws, Ernest and Laura Fieseler, Frank Macik, Edward and Ruth Wiehe, Joe and Mildred Bartos, Sigmund and Doris Fieseler, LeRoy and Margaret Fieseler and James Reimer. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Linda Lampe, Donald Lampe, and Ray Lampe.
Pallbearers will be Roy Hegefeld, Jerry Niemeyer, Allen Bartos, David Reimer, Neal Reimer and Jimmie Lampe. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all her remaining nieces and nephews.
Special Thanks to Joann Reimer for the care given to Patricia during this difficult time. To Clarence Gerke for his compassion and guidance. Also, to Dr. Bode and the nurses at BSW Hospital for their heartfelt kindness and compassion.
