Frances Applewhite

Frances Applewhite, 78, of Brenham, the widow of Jim Applewhite, died April 22, 2016, in Kerrville.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham.

Mrs. Applewhite was born December 7, 1937, in Brenham, to Helmus Robert and Dorothy (Durden) Schwettmann.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Shirley Applewhite of Kerrville; grandchildren, David and Allison Applewhite and Scott and Kim Applewhite; and great-granchildren, Payton, Addison, Autumn and Avery Applewhite.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Memorial contributions may be directed to First Baptist Church of Brenham.
