I''m off to Paradise! See you there…… Frances Macaulay passed away at 85 years young on Sept. 8, 2015 at her home in Brenham, Texas. "Frannie" was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Houston to Lester Boyd and Dora Christine Standley. She was a 1947 graduate of Aldine High School. Frannie married the love of her life, Richard Macaulay, and they were married 61 years before his death in 2010. A well-known Round Top and Brenham artist, she recently taught her last of more than 27 years of art classes for the Brenham Fine Arts League. She was a member of Greenvine Baptist Church. A Memorial Service for Frannie is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at Greenvine Baptist Church, 5010 FM 2502 Burton, Texas. Rev. Jack Faulkner will officiate. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law Frank and Diane Macaulay of La Grange; Stephen and Selina Macaulay of Leguna Vista, and David and Melody Macaulay of Houston; daughter and son-in-law Kari and Jim Hollway of Houston; grandchildren: Billy and Lauren Macaulay, Amy Macaulay, Robert Macaulay, Sean Macaulay, Amanda Macaulay, Ryan Macaulay, Ciara Macaulay, Lindsay Macaulay, Drew Hollway, Ashley Hollway, and Jamie and Greg Budnik; great-grandchildren: Noah, Della, Nolan and Myles. She is also survived by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Irene and Angus Macaulay, and a brother-in-law, Harold Touchstone. Her husband, Richard Charles Macaulay, preceded her in death. Memorials may be directed to Hospice Brazos Valley, or Greenvine Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements for Frances Ruth Macaulay are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham.
