Frances Parker

Frances Allyne Parker, 90, of Brenham, died Sept. 29, 2017, in Austin.

The funeral for Frances Parker will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6 at First United Methodist Church of Brenham with Rev. Bobbie Maltas officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Lea Cemetery in Brenham. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Mrs. Parker was born June 20, 1927 in Thorndale, TX, to Henry Edwin and Virginia (Conley) Wuensche. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Brenham, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She also loved being with her family and going to garage sales. Frances was also a champion domino player.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Mindi Parker of Austin and John and Richelle Parker of Bulverde; daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Richard Whitaker of San Marcos; sister, Mary Anne Trower of Plano; grandchildren, Jessica White, Shae Connell, Sterling Keith, Kate Whitaker, Richard Whitaker, Brandon Parker and Valerie Reyes; and great-grandchildren, Mason Connell, Emerson Connell, Eli Connell, Olivia White, Parker Keith, Preston Parker and Caleb Reyes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Burney Parker Jr.

Pallbearers will be Dash Connell, Zach Keith, Blake White, Jay McCulley, Greg Trower and Sergio Reyes.
