Frances Scott

Frances Scott, 101, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Brenham.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020, at Memorial Oaks Chapel in Brenham, TX., with Evangelist Chance Ruffino officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:30 till 4:30 p.m. prior to the memorial service.

Frances was born in Stroud, Oklahoma on June 13, 1918, to George and Nellie (Mills) Colvin. She was a member of Highway 290 Church of Christ, in Brenham, where she had a loving church family and many special friends. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, and especially loved children. She is the last survivor of 11 children.

Frances loved to paint and did beautiful work. She also loved to cross stitch.

Survivors include many beloved nieces and nephews including; Howard Colvin and wife Karen, Ken Colvin and wife Tricia, Joan Driver and husband Gary, and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements for Frances Scott are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main, Brenham , 979-836-4564.
