Francies Wehmeyer

Francies Irene Wehmeyer, 69, of Austin, and the wife of Clarence Wehmeyer, died Thursday, November 27, 2003, in Seton Medical Center in Austin. Mrs.Wehmeyer was born on October 6, 1934, in Lufkin, Texas, the daughter of Willie D. and Carrie Broomfield Landrum. She attended Lufkin High School and was a retired payroll accountant. On January 12, 1957, she was united in marriage to Clarence Wehmeyer in Lufkin, Texas. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of one son and one daughter. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas & Yancy Wehmeyer of Celeste, TX; daughter & son-in-law, Cheryl & Larry Hartgrove of Round Rock, TX; grandchildren, Roger Hartgrove and wife Ashley; April Hartgrove; Melissa Hartgrove; Courtney Hartgrove; and Matt Hartgrove; great-grandchildren, Bret Hartgrove and Tyler Hartgrove, brothers and sisters-in-law, L.D. & Pat Landrum of Mission, TX; Bill & Ruth Haynes of Apple Springs, TX, and Howard & Evelyn Haynes of Riverside, TX; A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 29, 2003 in Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 28, 2003 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund of charity of choice. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St. in Brenham.
