Francis Goode

Francis Lee Goode, of Brenham, TX, died Aug. 9, 2004, in a Brenham hospital. Mr. Goode was born July 27, 1922, in Knifley, Kentucky, to R.L. and Ollie Pendleton Goode. On June 16, 1950, he was married to Etta Ruth Chesher in Wichita Falls, TX. He was a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Etta Ruth Goode of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Kim Goode of Austin; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ron Jensen of Houston; and three grandchildren. Mr. Goode was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Buffalo Springs.
