Frank Eberle

March 29, 1915 — December 14, 2005

Frank Armine Eberle died in his Brenham residence on December 14, 2005 at the age of 90. Born in Thorndale, Texas on March 29, 1915, Frank was the son of Frank Armine Eberle & Anna Marie Ramsauer Eberle. On April 4, 1934, Frank was married to Imogene Schulke in Houston. Mr. Eberle was employed by Hughes Tool in Houston for 40 years. He enjoyed welding, ranching and gardening. A wonderful husband and father, Frank loved indulging in a dish of Blue Bell ice cream every night at 9 o clock. He was a member of Oak Lawn Presbyterian Church in Houston, and after moving to Brenham, he was a member of Brenham Presbyterian Church. He served as an elder in both congregations. A member of the Masonic Lodge for 65 years, Mr. Eberle was a member of Graham Lodge #20, AF&AM and the Brenham Shrine Club. The family suggests that memorial contributions be given to either Brenham Presbyterian Church, the Shrine Burns Institute or the Shrine Crippled Children s Hospital. Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Imogene Eberle; his sons and daughters-in-law: Richard & Ruth Ann Eberle of Mexia, Texas and William & Jeannie Eberle of Houston, Texas; his daughter, Virginia Sabayrac of Houston, five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Virginia Belcher. Visitation with the family present is scheduled for Friday evening, December 16, 2005 between 5:30 and 7:00 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service for Mr. Eberle will be held on Saturday morning, December 17, 2005 at 10 o clock in Brenham Presbyterian Church with Pastor Malcolm McIver officiating. Masonic burial rites under the auspices of Graham Lodge #20, AF & AM will follow in Prairie Lea Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Eberle, Barry Sabayrac, Jason Sabayrac, Frank Eberle, Randal Eberle and Alton Cole Eberle.
