Frank Jo Raymond, III, 49, of Austin, TX died Tuesday, May 26, 2009. He was born October 12, 1959 in New London, CT to Frank Jo Raymond, Jr. & Delores Jean Fitzwater Raymond. He graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. degree in computer science. He was self employed as a computer technician and owned his company entitled Computer Doc. Frank was a renowned bass player who played in numerous bands in the Austin music scene over the past 25 years. Frank had an affinity for blues music, cooking and vintage automobiles including his prized 1962 convertible Cadillac. He was an Austin aficionado, an avid sailboat racer and an accomplished snow skier. Survivors include his wife, Paloma Rodriguez and her daughter, Carolina Rodriguez; his parents, Frank Raymond, Jr. and Delores Raymond of Houston and Round Top; brothers, Peter Lee Raymond of Jacksonville, FL and David John & Heather Raymond of Little Rock, AR and soon a "nephew to be". He is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank Jo Raymond & Mae Raymond of Stonington, CT and John Herman Fitzwater and Lucile Fitzwater; and his aunt, Alice Mae Raymond of Stonington, CT. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 29 at Round Top Church Christian Fellowship, 440 E. Mill St., Round Top, TX, with Rev. Matthew Diehl officiating. Burial will follow in La Bahia Cemetery, near Burton, TX. Memorials may be given in behalf of Frank Raymond, III, to Hospice Austin''s Christopher House, 2820 E.
