Franklin Roese

Franklin Roese, 88, of Tomball, TX, died on May 21, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Friedens Church of Washington Cemetery with Pastor Eric Dehmer officiating.

Franklin was born on September 4, 1934 in Washington, TX to Herman and Sophie Meyer Roese Sr. He was baptized on October 7, 1934 and confirmed on April 10, 1949 at Friedens Church of Washington. He married his wife, Theresa Zientek, on December 15, 1967 in Houston, TX.

Franklin was a lifelong member of Friedens Church of Washington. He worked as an office tech for the oil and gas equipment production industry. He retired from FMC after over thirty years of service. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Franklin is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. He is especially loved by nieces, Sherry Callanan and Betty Becker and nephew, Mike Roese.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa (Zientek) Roese; sisters, Gladys Roese and Hortense Newman; brothers, Walter Roese, Melvin Roese, and Herman Roese Jr.
