Glenn Dallmeyer

Glenn H. Dallmeyer, 70, husband of Judy Dallmeyer, passed away August 19, 2017 in Brenham.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Burial will follow at Prairie Lea Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 21, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel.

Glenn Dallmeyer was born September 23, 1946 in the Burton community of Washington County to John and Celesta (Hewitt) Dallmeyer. On December 13, 1969 he married Judy Meschwitz. They had two sons, Troy H. Dallmeyer and Mark Dallmeyer.

Glenn worked for Jimmy Hahn Concrete before bravely entering the Army as artillery. He also worked for Case Power and Equipment for forty-one years until retirement. He was also involved in the cattle business and was a retired rancher.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Dallmeyer; son and daughter-in-law Mark and Amber Dallmeyer, grandchildren, Dustin, Avery, and Brieley Dallmeyer, sisters, Johnnie Lou Becker and Gladys Smith, brother-in-laws, Roger Meschwitz and his wife Belinda, Jerry Meschwitz and his wife Bev, and his pet Sam.

Glenn was preceded in death by his son, Troy H. Dallmeyer, mother and father, mother-in-law, and brother John Dallmeyer.

Serving as pallbearers are Mark Andrejczak, Cody Andrejczak, Mauris Graeber, Randy Klussmann, Kevin Goessler, and Jeff Aubihl.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are all former employees of Case Power and Equipment.

Memorials may be directed to Brazos Valley Hospice and St. Paul Lutheran Church of Phillipsburg or charity of choice.
