Goldie Sumrall

Goldie Virginia Sumrall, 95, of Brenham, died Dec. 20, 2016, in Brenham.
The funeral service will be held Friday, Dec. 23 at 10:30 a.m. in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Dan Schiel officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, Dec. 22 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Mrs. Sumrall was born June 22, 1921, in Bullard, TX, to Robertus Reeves and Millie Ema (Nall) Beall. On Feb. 18, 1952, she was married to Curtis L. Sumrall Sr. She was a retired registered nurse.
Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Melva and Bill Niewinski of Willis, Reba and Mitch Hermann of Broomfield, CO and Angela and Steve Baker of Brenham; grandchildren, Windii Tones, Kenneth Lewis, Brian Lewis, Emily Lewis, Paula Nichols, Caitlin Hermann, Shelby Hermann, Ginny Boughter, Sarah Lewis and James Baker; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Alex, Ethan, Emma, Nathaniel, Elijah, Miriam, Mitchell, Charlotte, Conor, Christopher and Campbell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Curtis L. Sumrall Sr. and daughter, Lila K. Lewis.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Lewis, Brian Lewis, Alex Tones and James Baker.
