Gregory Lee Holbert, age 54, a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, went to be with our Lord on January 14, 2019.
Gregory (Greg) was born in El Paso, Texas in 1964 to Billie and Carolyn Holbert. He was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL. He was a master furniture craftsman, excelling at building custom furniture, furniture reconstruction and preservation.
Greg was an avid angler and loved to enjoy this sport with his friends and family. Greg was kind, giving and softhearted.
He will be dearly missed by his father Billie Holbert Sr., mother Carolyn Holbert, brother Billie Holbert Jr., sister Sherree Buckland, and his two children Margaret Aubrey Grace Holbert and Christopher Charles Holbert. He will also be missed by his seven nieces and nephews, Alexis Buckland, Rachel Hults, Billie Holbert III, Chad Buckland, Macy Pena, Faran Buckland, and Sarah Wilkinson, all of whom he loved and adored.
A celebration of Greg’s life will be held Friday, February 1, 2019, 1:00 p.m., CST, at Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main Street, Brenham, TX 77833.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations for the benefit of Greg's minor children to any Wells Fargo Bank.
