Hans Eckhardt, Sr.

Hans Donald Don Eckhardt, Sr. Brought into this world in Houston on October 11, 1930 and has gone to rest on September 23, 2004. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 53 years, Jimmie Eckhardt; brother, Henry Eckhardt and wife Gina; sons, Donnie Eckhardt and wife Janice, Randy Eckhardt and wife Bridget; daughter, Kimberly Parks and husband Michael; 8 grandchildren, Zachary Eckhardt, Amanda Eckhardt, Garrett Eckhardt, Brittany Parks, Brandon Parks, Victoria Parks, Ava Eckhardt and James Tyler Eckhardt. Arrangements are at Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham. Family will receive guests Friday, September 24, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral service will be at Grace Lutheran Church in Brenham at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 25. Pallbearers are Randy Eckhardt, Zachary Eckhardt, Buggs Threadgill, Ted Parks, Raymond Koch, Lester Koch, Milton Koch, and Steve Folsom. Honorary pallbearers are Garrett Eckhardt, Brittany Parks, Brandon Parks and Victoria Parks. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations are made to the American Diabetes Association or Grace Lutheran Church, 1212 Jefferson, Brenham, TX 77833.
