Harry Milton Fred Goldberg, 86, of Ledbetter, died April 7, 2015 at Giddings Residence and Rehab. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m., Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton, with Rev. John Gantt officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Burton. Harry Goldberg was born Nov. 22, 1928 in rural Washington County to Harmon and Nelda Sonnenburg Goldberg. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Rehburg, and educated in the Eberhardt and Rehburg schools. Harry lived a simple life, yet he was passionate about his beliefs. He loved being outdoors with his hounds, and fishing and hunting were favorite pastimes. He is survived by his two sisters, Elnora Stanley and Ruth McClellan; sister-in-law Madeline Goldberg and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters-in-laws Leroy and Lorene Goldberg; Lawrence and first wife Alleen Goldberg; brothers-in-law J. P. Stanley, Jr., and Frank McClennan, and a nephew, Lemroy Goldberg. Funeral arrangements for Harry Milton Fred Goldberg are entrusted to Foehner Funeral Home in Burton.
