Harry Kwiatkowski

Harry E. Kwiatkowski, 61, of Brenham, died September 6, 2009 at his residence. He is also known to his friends and relatives as Big Harry or Big H. Harry was born in Houston on July 15, 1948 to Bruno Kwiatkowski and Antonia Stegent Kwiatkowski. He was baptized, confirmed and educated at St. Mary''s Catholic Church. Harry moved to Brenham when he was 5 years old with his mother, brother and grandparents. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era, but was stationed in Korea. He was in the Lester Barracks, A and B Battery, 4 th. BN., 76 th Artillery. He was a life long member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church, and a member of American Legion Post 48. He worked for Seeker Distributing and later for Wright Distributing Miller Beer Co. Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law Raymond and Angie Kwiatkowski of Brenham, niece; Nicole Kwiatkowski of Brenham, nephew: Kevin Kwiatkowski of Brenham, and also several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death were his parents, father Bruno Kwiatkowski and his mother, Antonia Kwiatkowski Wisnoski. grandparents , a sister, and several aunts and uncles. Funeral service for Harry Kwiatkowski will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, with Father Bradfard Hernadez will officiate. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives Tuesday, September 8, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Pallbearers include Kevin Kwiatkowski, Nicole Kwiatkowski, Lee Roy Grote Jr., Frank Nowak Jr., Walter Stegmann, Billy Joe Marshall, Ronnie Wisnoski, and Robert Weiss. Honorary pallbearers are Delores Seeker and all former employees of Seeker Distributing. Memorials may be directed to a charity of your choice.
