Harvey Luedemann, Sr.

Harvey Llewellyn Luedemann, Sr., husband of Sue Carmichael Luedemann, died August 12, 2017 in Brenham.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for 6 p.m., Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with Rev. Darren Donaldson officiating.

Harvey Luedemann, Sr. was born August 11, 1941 in Burton. On February 19, 1977, he was married to Sue Carmichael. Even though Harvey was a workaholic, he enjoyed watching T.V., and enjoyed fishing and working with his cattle. A favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle in the mud. He treasured time spent with his grandchildren, and liked to prepare meals for his family on his grill.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Luedemann of Brenham; sons Harvey Luedemann, Jr. of Brenham, and Jimmy Luedemann (Sarah) of Spring; daughters Lydia Becker of College Station; Denay Mason of Shreveport, LA, and Annetta Phillips (James) of Burton; brother and sister-in-law Larry and Mary Demuth; sisters Gloria Rippenhagen (Robert) of Brenham, and Gertrude Ramer of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren: Michael Mobley, Amber Cole, Kristopher Cole, Karen Mobley, Virginia Zamora, Douglas Zamora, David Mobley, Cody Mason, Schuyler Mason, Hunter Mobley, Hayden Mobley, Hayley Mobley, Hollie Mobley, Leslie Bobo, and Kenneth Golden II; great-grandchildren: Alex Mobley, Sky Mobley, Lela Cole, Ray Cole, and Daylan and Leif Zamora. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Bonnie Demuth and Becky Demuth.

Harvey was preceded in death by his mother, Lydia Luedemann, brothers, David Demuth and Pete Demuth, and a granddaughter, Amber Cole.
