Hayden Munson

Hayden McCauley Mack Munson, 65, of Burton, died April 6, 2005, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mr. Munson was born May 24, 1939, in Uvalde, Texas, to Clifford M. and Jasma Lee Barnett Munson. He was baptized in 1953 in Brownwood, Texas. On Nov. 4, 1967, he was married to Doreen M. Werland. Mr. Munson was a retired office manager. Survivors include his wife, Doreen M. Munson; son, Michael Horrocks of Brenham; daughters and sons-in-law, Trish and Lynn Diepenbrock of Hennepin, Oklahoma, Deborah and Brad Benne of Round Rock, Texas and Sandye and Randy Fletcher of Martinsville, Indiana; his mother, Jasma Lee James of Shawnee, Oklahoma; brothers and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Lavonne James of Manhatten, Kansas and Morris L. and Jean Ann James of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and seven grandchildren, Clay, Dustin, Ethan, Emily, Cody, M Kayla and Christy. He was preceded in death by his father, Clifford M. Munson; stepmother, Pelly Munson; stepfather, Leslie M. James; grandmother, Otha Mae Barnett; and grandfather, Charles Barnett. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 10 in Memorial Oaks Chapel with Pastor Kim Little-Brooks officiating. Memorials may be given to the American Lung Association.
