Helen Lewandowski Flisowski, 79, of Brenham, died July 15, 2005, in Trinity Medical Center in Brenham. Mrs. Flisowski was born August 1, 1925, in Houston, Texas, to Steve and Martha Springer Lewandowski. She was educated in St. Stanislaus Catholic School. On October 27, 1942, she was married to Stanley Flisowski in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill. She was a member of St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband, Stanley Flisowski of Brenham; three sons and daughters-in-law, Speedy and Mildred Flisowski of Brenham, Johnnie Flisowski of Granite Shoals, TX and Albin and Brenda Flisowski of Brenham; son-in-law, Bill Brayton of Katy; brothers, Stanley Lewandowski of Houston, Willie Lewandowski of Chappell Hill and Sigmund Lewandowski of Houston; sister, Frances Kmiec of Bellville; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Dorothy Brayton. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17 in Memorial Oaks Chapel. The funeral Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18 in St. Mary s Catholic Church in Brenham with Father Miguel Duarte, celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Brenham. Pallbearers will be Jerry Kmiec, John Brayton, Trevor Flisowski, Dax Flisowski, Lance Flisowski, Lang Flisowski and Kevin Flisowski. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 W. Main St., in Brenham.
