Henry S. Hall, 74, husband of Carol J. Hall, died Feb. 11, 2015 in Lake Charles, La. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, February 16, 2015 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine. Pastor David Tinker will officiate. Burial will follow in La Bahia Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 6 p.m. Sunday evening at Foehner Funeral Home in Burton. Henry Hall was born Jan. 18, 1941 in Cameron, Texas to Loyd Shaw Hall and Vallie Bartek Hall. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. On June 22, 1963, he was married to Carol Bergmann at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine, where he was a member at the time of his death. Henry, along with his wife, Carol, operated Henry''s Grocery in Burton, Texas for 35 years. He was generous and truly cared for his customers and the community. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and family. A wonderful husband, daddy and grandpa, Henry treasured time spent with his family. Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Carol Hall of Burton; son and daughter-in-law Damon and Marisol Hall of Cypress; daughters and sons-in-law Sheila and Bruce Muske of Brenham, and Dana and Randy Beck of Burton; grandchildren: Mandy Muske, Brandon Muske, Colby Beck, Isabella Hall, and Victoria Hall; sister-in-law Virgie Hall of Round Top; sister and brother-in-law Josephine and Jerome Canik of Houston; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Fred and Verna Bergmann of Haughton, La. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Otto and Erna Bergmann; brother, Albert Hall, sister and brother-in-law Lorine and James Smith, and a sister, Nadine Hall. Serving as pallbearers are Leo Hall, Dean Canik, Larry Canik, Chris Canik, Patrick Smith, Matthew Bergmann, Kevin Knebel, and Gary Knebel.
