Henry Charles Mikolajczak, Sr. husband of Stella Swierkowski Mikolajczak, passed away June 25, 2012 in Bryan. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2012 in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill, offered by Father David Ivey. Burial will follow in St. Stanlislaus Catholic Church Cemetery in Chappell Hill. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel, with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Henry was born July 22, 1936 in Chappell Hill to Josephine Skweres and John Mikolajczak. He was baptized and confirmed in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church of Chappell Hill. On April 29, 1961, he married Stella Louise Swierkowski, and they made their home in Chappell Hill. For 28 years, he was employed at Daniel''s Industry in Houston until he retired in 1984. Surivors include his wife, Stella, of Chappell Hill; sons and daughters-in-law Henry Jr. and Kristin, John and Becky, son Frank, and a daughter, Margaret and husband, Darrin, grandchildren: Chase, Kenna, Jared, Shane and Dillon Mikolajczak, and Zoe and Tristan Zwerneman; sister and brother-in-law, Sophia and Jack Murski; sister-in-law, Shirley Ann Skweres, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josephine and John Mikolajczak, half-brother, Johnnie Skweres, half-sister, Florence Mikolajczak, nephew Johnny Ray "Boogie" Skweres; nieces, Barbara Louise Skweres and JoAnn Roberts; mother-in-law and father-in-law Theresa and Stanley Swierkowski; brother-in-law Joseph Swierkowski, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Verna and Bruno Faterkowski. Serving as pallbearers are Chase, Jared, Shane, and Dillon Mikolajczak, and Tristan Zwerneman, Matt Swierkowski, Richard Murski, and Joe Faterkowski. Honorary pallbearers are Kenna Mikolajczak and Zoe Zwerneman. Funeral arrangements for Henry Charles Mikolajczak, Sr. are entrusted to Memorial Oaks Chapel, 1306 West Main, Brenham.
